| | The Avon is an amazing gem of a theater we are lucky enough to have in Stamford. The movies shown are incredibly beautiful and powerful. Meeting the stars, writers, and directors, too...wow! Bravo! to the folks who brought The Avon back 'to life'. :) |

| | Hello to everyone in Stamford! I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I traveled out to the beautiful Avon theater in November of 2008 to attend the showing of Sherlock Holmes's Smarter brother, hosted by Gene and Karen Wilder. I have been a huge admirer of Mr.Wilder since I was 8 years old and first seen him in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. Today I am a filmmaker, actress and writer and Gene Wilder is my biggest inspiration when it comes to filmmaking and acting. When anyone asks me, "What's your favorite film of all time?" That's easy, Willy Wonka & the chocolate factory with Gene Wilder! (-: Therefore it was a lifelong dream fulfilled to meet Gene in person last November. I took the Greyhound bus from Cincinnati, Ohio to Stamford, Connecticut. It was a 22 hour bus ride (Greyhound intinerary: Cincinnati to Columbus, to Cambridge, to Pittsburgh, to Harrisburg, to Philadelphia, to New York, to Stamford,(!) but it was worth the long trip. Thought you guys would enjoy hearing my story. Did ya? (-: Have a purr-fect day! =^..^= -The Cincinnati Kid |

Will you be showing Audrey Tatou's new film, "Coco before Chanel," anytime soon? |

| | Would you bring all the "best 10" movies that were mentioned in The Times last Sunday. They were mostly foreign and I had never heard of them but would love to see them thanks Janis |

| | It's so refreshing to have a theatre like ours that showcases indie, foreign and classic films. Would it be possible to have a "Film Noir" series perhaps one week a month? It would be wonderful to see old movies from the 1930's and 1940's on the big screen. Thanks again for all the great movies! |
