March 13, 2007: Mira Nair, the acclaimed director of 'Salaam Bombay!', 'Monsoon Wedding' and 'Vanity Fair', joined the Avon audience for a special screening of 'The Namesake' and a Q&A session after the show. Spanning two generations, two clashing cultures and two very different ways of life that crash into each other only to become lovingly intertwined, 'The Namesake' is ultimately about the imminently relevant question: what does it mean to be an American family?
